During the international motor show (IAA) in Frankfurt BMW presents the "the joy to drive now and in future".
Highlight of the concept by the Hamburg agency Mutabor is the 300 m long runway in exhibition hall 11. osd planed the supporting structure of the runway and the accompanying stand buildings. The track is around 6 m wide and runs as ribbon through the exhibition hall 11 forming a lying eight. The track is apt to be driven on by several cars with up to 50 km/h.

The primary structure of the road is designed as girder grid with open and closed steel profiles. The long sides are constructed exclusively with open profiles. In the curves in which the road is supported selectively closed profiles were used, because of the larger torsion loads.
The road plate consists of 57 mm of veneer cord wood (e. g. Kerto Q) and at least 6 mm of stone granule on epoxy resin basis as surface. Both the screwed Kertoplatte and the rigid connections of the primary structure components between them ensure the formation of the road as stiff plate.

A large part of the road is supported by bipartite steel pillars. The x-shape of the pillars ensures the horizontal stiffening of the long straights as well as the vertical load transfer. A shear wall is dissolved into a steel half-timbering next to the escalator and ensures the additional bracing in longitudinal direction.
