The sports center Crystal is a communal institution in Copenhagen. The building is being used for various sports as well as cultural events such as concerts or performances. The structure of the eye-catching and crystal shaped building has been realized in steel and wood and covered with a polymer cladding. This extremely lightweight cladding allows the filigree supporting structure that follows the geometry of the interior. The shimmering polycarbonate cladding is translucent and offers excellent light conditions during the day.
