Exhibition at the DAM 2019


Within the BDA-exhibition „Big Houses, Small Houses“at DAM Frankfurt (17.01.-17.02.2019) you can see our project +e Kindertagesstätte in Marburg, which was honored with the "Simon-Louis-du-Ry-Plakette". The opening of the exhibition is on January 16th, 2019.

Reconstruction of the stadium in Darmstadt


The general planner 1100: Architekten comissioned osd with the structural design for the new stand (except the roof structure) in connection with the reconstruction of the SV Darmstadt 98 football stadium. On December 8th, 2018, the uncovered stand was used fot the last time by the "Lilien"-fans.

Appreciation for Height 1


Hamburg Height 1 (a refurbishment of the former Spiegel-Verlagshaus), in cooperation with Winking Froh Architekten and IFFT Institut für Fassadentechnik Frankfurt GmbH Karlotto Schott, got a appreciation at the BDA Hamburg Architektur Preis 2018.

Our project Hamburg Height 1, in cooperation with Winking Froh Architekten, got a top-3 placing at this year’s German Sustainability Award (DGNB-Preis 2018 / Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis). Denkmal und Energie 2019


There is an article about “Strageties for the rehabilitation of listed buildings, built in the time of post-war modernism” published in the yearbook „Denkmal und Energie 2019“, Weller/Scheuring (ed.) / Springer Vieweg. Florian Mähl highlights our projects Kreisverwaltung Kaiserslautern, Fraunhofer-Institut LBF-K placed in Darmstadt (Technikum des ehemaligen DKI), Hamburg Height 1 (formerly Spiegel-Verlagshaus) and Neue Mainer Straße 84 in Frankfurt.
   

DBZ - Der Entwurf – Portfolio


The November edition of Der Entwurf, published by the Deutsche BauZeitschrift, covers the topic “Portfolio”. Florian Mähl, one of osd’s managers, is visible on the cover. His contribution about “dare more passion” is printed on pages 20/21.

Construction site video Gütersloh


„The new construction of the fire and rescue station in Gütersloh is almost finished: the building shell is accomplished, the concrete was poured and the façade, made of red clinker, covers most parts of the building envelope. In spring/summer 2019 the headquater will move into the new building.”

There are two congresses with osd participation in November 2018:

On the first national meeting of “Netzwerk Architekturkommuikation” (a network about communication in terms of architecture) Anna Scheuermann and other experts will conduct a station about communication in architecture - job description and career opportunities.

Topping-out ceremony in Kaiserslautern


On November 12th, 2018, the topping-out ceremony took place at the construction site of the Laboratory for Advanced Spin Engineering (LASE) at the Technical University Kaiserslautern.
The new building is planned in cooperation with B+P Reiner Becker and has the aim to create a place where the research groups of different special fields (physics, chemistry & mechanical and process engineering) can work together in one building.
